The finish line of the fourth stage of the PEDALITALY LA 6 TAPPE circuit is located in the town of Gaiole in Chianti. We are situated in the Chianti Classico region, next to the Massellone river and on the road that connects Chianti to Valdarno.

The starting point of this route is located in Pianella, a small village of Castelnuovo Berardenga in the province of Siena, and proceeds north towards Vagliagli and Radda in Chianti.

The itinerary alternates long stretches of gravel roads with asphalt roads in a succession of ups and downs typical of this Tuscan area.

Once in Radda in Chianti, the route heads in the direction of Gaiole following the main road before turning right and taking the last stretch of gravel road that descends towards the centre of Gaiole in Chianti.

The total distance is 33km with an elevation gain of 700mt. The route completely retraces the last stretch of the famous cycling event "L'Eroica".

There are three time zones:

- EUROPE at 9:00 am CET with LIVE STREAMING

- ASIA at 9:00 pm JST 

- USA at 5:00 pm PDT
