The Cancano Lakes are the destination of this new adventure proposed by PEDALITALY that continues to enable cyclists from all over the world to discover the most fascinating destinations in Italy.

PEDALITALY Cancano Virtual Race allows you to pedal in Valtellina, an enchanting territory and a highly chosen destination by many professional cyclists to prepare themselves for the most important races.

Connect your smart trainer to ROUVY and relive the emotions of the Giro d'Italia by challenging hundreds of cyclists from all over the world!

The starting point is located in the municipality of Sondalo in Le Prese, in the province of Sondrio. The route climbs up the Valtellina in a succession of ups and downs along the river Adda up to Bormio.

Turn off at Santa Lucia and climb towards Le Motte before descending to Pradelle, a hamlet of Valdidentro. Leave the SS301 to start the last 10 km long climb with an elevation of 600 metres.

During the climb you will enjoy the extraordinary natural scenery of Alta Valtellina all the way up to the historic Torri di Fraele, the highest point of the race.

The finish line is located a few metres further on at the beginning of the Cancano lakes. This point was the destination of a decisive stage during the Giro d'Italia in 2020.
