Ticino 500

Ticino Wildlands 500 is a run of approximately 500 kilometers with 40,000 meters of positive elevation gain, to be covered on foot along the alpine and pre-alpine trails that follow the borders of the Canton of Ticino.
It is a race in complete autonomy between the various checkpoints, without direct external assistance, requiring a high capacity for management, endurance, and adaptation.
The objective is to live an experience of adventure, exploration, self-discovery, and respect for the mountains.
Each participant faces the challenge under their own responsibility, with full awareness of the risks connected to the natural environment.
The Ticino Wildlands 500 is a private sporting raid, not a competitive race.
