Atlantic Coast Challenge – 3 Marathons in 3 Days

Take on one of the UK’s most iconic multi-day endurance adventures at the Atlantic Coast Challenge, held from 2–4 October in the coastal area of Hayle.

Now in its 21st year, this legendary ultra-event invites runners and walkers to cover up to 78.6 miles over three days along the dramatic Atlantic edge of Cornwall — from the historic start near Padstow to the iconic finish at Land's End.

Designed for true endurance seekers, the challenge can be completed over 1, 2, or all 3 days, with participants choosing to walk, run, or even crawl their way along one of Britain’s most spectacular and untamed coastlines.

The route delivers a constantly changing mix of coastal cliffs, remote trails, and sweeping ocean views, testing both physical resilience and mental determination. Every stage offers a raw, immersive connection with nature at its most powerful.

Organised by Epic Endurance Events CIC, the Atlantic Coast Challenge is designed to be fully supported, allowing participants to focus entirely on the experience. Logistics are handled by the event team, ensuring a smooth and safe multi-day journey.

Every participant receives an official event T-shirt, while every finisher earns a coveted challenge medal and a traditional Cornish pasty — the perfect reward after three days on the coast.
