The half marathon features a fast and scenic course that passes through all the city’s most iconic landmarks: from the ancient gates — San Pietro, Schiavonia, Ravaldino, and Cotogni — to the historic Foro Boario, from the rationalist district of Piazzale della Vittoria to the majestic Rocca di Caterina Sforza, and on to the modern university campus and the renowned San Domenico Museum. The race starts and finishes in the beautiful Piazza Saffi, the vibrant heart of the city.
The 8 km Family Run shares part of the half marathon route and offers a captivating itinerary through the historic center and the city’s surrounding countryside, with highlights including Porta San Pietro, Piazza Duomo, and Via delle Torri.
