History, nature and taste
The Pedagnalonga has taken place for over 50 years in the territory of Borgo Hermada, just a few steps from Terracina and Circeo, halfway between Rome and Naples. Born more than half a century ago during the "austerity Sundays," it has now become a landmark event for all of Central Italy.
The 21 km and 13 km routes are entirely flat, featuring characteristic dirt track sections that run alongside local rivers, crossing the countryside and the ancient farmsteads of the Pontine Reclamation. Simultaneously, a 15 km non-competitive event takes place, a pleasant food and wine walk dotted with refreshment points where participants can taste typical local gastronomic and wine specialties.
