Challenge the alpine trails and the Ticino verticals

The Ticino Mountain Running Cup is a mountain running and trail circuit held in Canton Ticino, featuring several stages throughout the year. Organized by the Scenic Trail Association, the circuit brings together various trail, vertical, and long-climb races on alpine and woodland paths, showcasing the spectacular nature of Ticino with breathtaking views, demanding elevation gains, and technical routes. Points are awarded at each stage toward a general classification, with final awards for the most consistent and high-performing athletes.

Available Stages:
San Salvatore Vertical Race: A steep climb on the slopes of Monte San Salvatore overlooking Lake Ceresio; a technical and spectacular race.
Scenic Trail K4 Vertical: A demanding vertical climb with extreme gradients designed for specialists.
Biasca Climb +2000: An alpine challenge featuring approximately +2,000 m of positive gain over just 9.5 km, a test for the strongest runners.
Redde Run: A trail through the beech forests between Tesserete and Comano, on varied and natural paths.
Cardada Trail (23 km & 13 km): An autumn event offering incredible panoramas of the Alps and Lake Maggiore, featuring technical and challenging tracks.

A circuit dedicated to mountain running enthusiasts, where adrenaline, alpine vistas, and community spirit meet in the valleys and on the ridges of Ticino: every stage of the Mountain Running Cup is a new adventure on the trails!
