L’Anello del Giorgione

L’Anello del Giorgione is a competitive track and field event held on a street circuit surrounding the historic walls of Castelfranco Veneto. This unique event seamlessly blends high-level sports with community participation.
L’Anello del Giorgione features two distinct competitions.

The Relay Race: A relay composed of four runners, each of whom must complete a lap around the walls before passing the baton. Teams can be male, female, or mixed, with no restrictions regarding club or group affiliation. The only requirements are teamwork and the desire to have fun in a running competition where the focus is on the team rather than the individual.
The "Americana" Elimination Race: An elimination-style race where, at every lap, the last-placed runners are eliminated in a crescendo of competition and strategy. This event includes two separate races, one for men and one for women.
The Americana is an invitation-only, free-to-entry event of the highest level, featuring the fastest short-distance athletes. Due to its spectacular and adrenaline-fueled nature, it is a major draw for the public and relay participants alike.

Both competitions are officially sanctioned by FIDAL.
